Never a dull moment going on with the writing and creating modes. Lately, I’ve been focused upon my marketing side which is the least favorite thing that authors must do.
My move to Ingram Spark Spark is finished. All 16 books are available worldwide at more places (both online and bookstores). I can’t believe the difference in how my print books started selling, especially in Germany and the UK. It’s much appreciated and makes me wonder how many sales were lost by tying my books to Amazon so long on the print side. Live and Learn, I guess!
SUBSTACK WORK
As you might have noticed, the Gordon Brewer’s substack got a new coat of paint and I’m still in the process of getting links re-established to my various stories. As I redo the substack site, you’ll find it’s (hopefully) easier to navigate.
Good news for Paid Subscribers - you can download PDF copies of four of my novels PLUS all of the horror comics in the archive (perfect for Halloween). I’ve added my stand alone books (Beowulf is a YA adventure story and Infinite Loop is a supernatural fantasy).
To download your copy, simply go to the Stories and Books for Subscribers page (in the menu) and you can download the full stories to read at your leisure. Also, you’ll soon have access to pdf versions of more of my work.
For my free subscribers, you can get download my novellas (Two Ray Irish mysteries and a Clovel Sword Saga with two stories). Also, there are free downloads of my first horror comics.
I hope you enjoy the stories and consider joining my paid subscribers.
Weekly Chapters
With my move to supplying new chapters each week as I write an upcoming book, you’ll notice I’m trying to make the chapters in a light novel format with illustrations. The goal is to give the reader a sense of how I see situations and the look of characters. I’d love to get your feedback on how this does or doesn’t work for you.
I have two Ray Irish mysteries in the works and those chapters you’re seeing each week are part of only one novel.
I’ll admit it comes from my fascination with old pulp magazines….
The next chapter of Ray Irish is coming in a day or two. Stay tuned.
