I’ve noticed that Substack lacks in the ability to really update subscribers to previous posts (in my case the latest chapter updates for people other than paid subscribers).
Therefore, I’m going to be sending out a separate update like today’s so my free subscribers have the opportunity to see some of latest panels to my online comic series.
Jealous Gods received 3 new pages to Chapter 2 this week. For those who haven’t seen this webcomic, here are some panels to get a sense of the fine artist work that Jomari Niala does on this comic. This story follows a defrocked priest who stumbles into an ongoing struggle between alien creatures and a band of demi-humans who protect the gateway between realms.

Vin is starting work on more pages of my Clovel Sword Saga story (available at the link below - requires you put in your email due to a different site hosting the epub format). Battered Soul is my push to move the story to a graphic novel with plenty of action and adventure set in a fantasy world where monsters are real and gods carry the same vanities and cruelties of those they claim to rule.
For those who missed my original postings about Battered Soul, here are some of the panels in the first Chapter. As you can see, Vin’s style works nicely for the dark fantasy storyline. Since we’ve wrapped up our collaboration on Strange Twisted Tales, he’s working on getting more pages to complete this chapter and begin work on Chapter 2.
