The gods cannot stop their external exile to the cold, dark void between dimensions when they fade from memory. Yet, the ancient gods still exist and retain recollections of when they ruled over the world. They wish to return to the past and rule once again. However, their path to freedom remains barred by gateways that separate the dimensions and allow travel across time and space. It is an alien technology built by an ancient species long before humans dominated a planet called Earth…
