As the Monty Python's Flying Circus skit goes, "And now for something completely different." No, we don't have fish slapping dances or selling you a dead parrot, but I do have Strange Twisted Tales inspired by two of the greatest songs (in my opinion) from rock and roll. Some of the panels are in, and I wanted to give subscribers an early preview.
Gallis Pole follows the exploits of a mysterious hangman on his way to complete the execution of a notorious outlaw protected by a powerful family. Inspired by the Led Zeppelin song "Gallows Pole," the story weaves vengeance and justice against money and corruption.
The other story in this month’s issue is Guess My Name, and as you can imagine is homage to, "Sympathy for the Devil" from the Rolling Stones. Here are some rough panels which outline some of the story.
